Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul both hit hundreds as World Cup hosts India prepared for the semi-finals with a crushing 160-run victory over the Netherlands, keeping their perfect tournament record intact.
After their top-order colleagues had left after breezy fifties on a good M Chinnaswamy Stadium track on Sunday, Iyer (128no) struck his fourth ODI tonne before Rahul (102) exploded to take India to 4-410.
The winning streak of Team India continues in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. On November 12 (Sunday), India defeated Netherlands by 160 runs at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The Indian team, led by Rohit Sharma, will now face New Zealand in the semi-finals. The semi-final match between India and New Zealand will take place on November 15 at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.
India won nine consecutive matches for the first time.
For the first time in ODI World Cup history, India has won nine consecutive matches. It had previously won eight consecutive World Cup matches in 2003. This year, India has won its 24th One Day International. India had achieved a similar victory in 1998. India now has a chance to set a new record if they win the semi-finals.

KL Rahul set two important records.
The Indian team batted first after winning the toss and scored 410 runs for four wickets. This was the Indian team’s second highest score in the World Cup. India’s highest World Cup score is 413/5 runs, which it achieved against Bermuda. Shreyas Iyer scored an unbeaten 128 runs on 94 balls for India, including 10 fours and five sixes. KL Rahul, on the other hand, batted an inning of 102 runs in 64 balls with 11 fours and four sixes. Rahul is the second Indian wicketkeeper to score a World Cup century. This was also the fastest century scored by an Indian batsman in the World Cup. Rahul and Shreyas Iyer put on 208 runs for the fourth wicket.
