Many well-known cricketers have produced autobiographies and biographies after retiring from the sport. Sachin Tendulkar’s book is titled “Playing it My Way,” while M.L. Jaisimha wrote Sunil Gavaskar’s biography (Sunny Days).
An autobiography is a self-written account of one’s own life. A biography, on the other hand, is a written narrative of someone’s life.
The primary motivation for publishing an autobiography or biography is to share one’s difficult life with the general public or fans. The author may wish to profit from these books at times.
