“AKASHE-SHATRUN JAHI” is the Indian Army’s motto. The Army AD flag has two horizontal bands of colours, with sky blue on the upper half and red on the lower half. The red hue represents sacrifice and chivalry, while the sky blue colour represents the background of the blue sky against which the Army AD weapons must operate.
